HerdHelp is a comprehensive mobile solution designed to bring digital precision to the traditional world of livestock management. Our goal was to create an interface that is as rugged and reliable as the farmers who use it, allowing for the seamless tracking of animal health, breeding cycles, and inventory in real-time. By balancing a vibrant, growth-oriented visual identity with a highly intuitive user experience, we transformed complex data entry into a streamlined, one-handed operation. The result is a powerful tool that helps ranchers move away from paper ledgers and toward a more sustainable, data-driven future for their herds.
The Challenge
Livestock farmers still track animal health, breeding cycles and inventory in paper ledgers. Records get lost, updates happen days late, and the people doing the work are out in the field with one hand busy - not sitting at a desk.
HerdHelp needed an app that could handle genuinely complex herd data while staying simple, rugged and reliable enough for everyday use on a farm.
Strategic Solution
We designed the core flows around one-handed use: large touch targets, short step-by-step entry screens and sensible defaults, so logging a health check or a breeding event takes seconds instead of a notebook entry.
